D_Harris:
Hello, I'm Darren.

I live and work in Staten Island and Manhattan respectively.

I have a Microlux 7" x 14" mini-lathe I bought directly from the son of the company owner several years ago. (And I also have a mini-mill that needs to be fixed).

I'm an amateur inventor who has yet to build anything, so I really need to get back into the whole machine and tooling thing and at the moment I'm putting together a list of tools I still need to get. (Which is no easy task).  :coffee:

Hi Darren

Welcome to MadModder. It looks like you have two of the pieces needed to start building and a good base to start adding to with tooling. I think you will find that there is always one more piece of tooling that you want to add to the list. If you have any questions, feel free to ask as there is always someone around to answer or at least give an opinion.  :D :D

Cheers

Hi Darren, welcome to the collective from an Upstater (Rochester area).  :borg:

Sounds like a fun thing "inventing". Have fun collecting the tooling.

Many of us hear would love to give you a hand at finiding those tools. Of course when your spending somebody elses money, it's going to be real easy to do.  :ddb:

Hi Darren!

Welcome to the collective! :borg:

I work in midtown myself. Talk to me about tooling... being semi local we may be able to help each other out.

Eric
