I find I can get oil into those ball type nipples with no mess using nothing more than a cheap Chinese oil can, even the one that came with the lathe works. :lol: The oil can has to be aligned with the nipple and the tip of the oil can has to be small enough to go inside the hole of the nipple, but no smaller! If it is too small it will push the ball to the limit of its travel before sealing around the outer edge. |

Here is the oil can I use on all the oil nipples on my lathes. There is another similar pump type made by Plews that works as well as the Goldenrod. Joe |

I use an ordinary oil can with a short length of fuel tubing sold for model aircraft works a treat. |
