No box but that doesn't bother me. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280428502231&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_4503wt_939 Got some on the way. Cheers Phil |

I bought some replacement heads for a caliper/scale and paid nearly as much as for a new caliper! http://www.virtualvillage.com/large-screen-replacement-display-module-for-caliper-001481-068.html Thanks for the link to the calipers, I've ordered a couple. I'll try to modify one for the Y axis on my mill, at that price I can afford to fail. |

I've ordered a couple as well, at this price it's hard to refuse. Regards Gordy |

--- Quote from: Bernd on January 16, 2010, 07:40:21 PM ---Make sure you get a lot of batteries with them. They seem to eat batteries like crazy. Bernd --- End quote --- According to what I have found the short battery life is due to using alkaline batteries. Here is a discussion of alkaline vs. silver oxide. Silver oxide batteries are suspose to have a much longer life. http://www.truetex.com/buttons.htm I also found these S/O batteries on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/5pcs-SG13-SG-13-Silver-Oxide-Button-Coin-Battery-1-55V_W0QQitemZ390050982389QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad0d9a9f5 Joe |
