Hi people, please find herebelow a sample of a model made some 30 years ago and my photobucketd address for some more... Well, you have asked for it. http://s200.photobucket.com/albums/aa77/papandropoulos/ Sorry for any past or future mistakes but kindly remember that English is not my native language. Greetings, George. P.S. Yes, same wife... |

Welcome George, you will fit in nicely. This group of nuts like it if it is made from anything that requires a degree of skill, craftsmanship, imagination and detemination to start and sometime complete. For what its worth I too like firearms and have built a single falling blocke rifle chambered in .22Hornet. It shoots a lot better than I can. Again, welcome to the ward err collective. PS , George, the quarter pictured with the revolver has collector value also, to coin collectors. The US ceased minting silver coins in 1964, any coin, excluding nickles & pennys, minted in 1964 or earlier is about 90% pure silver. The silver content, at current price, is about 8 times the face value. To a coin collector the coin should of more value as the quarter appears to be in good to very good condition. Hope this helps. Thank you all for your welcome and advise regarding the value of the silver dollar. From rainy (at last) Greece, George. P.S. I say at last, because a bottle of water if ordered in a cheap tavern costs more than the equivalent volume of gasoline... |

Hi Cliff, thanks for the tip regarding the coin. I have not mentioned that the pictured revolver fires 2mm pinfire caps. Thanks again and regret delay in answer. George |
