Someone I now visit regularly has one of these that he built from the heminway plans. It looks excellent:

Price isn`t great but it includes all castings and bar stock and detailed plans.

Craynerd.  Thank you for the site.  Ohh My what a great tool to build and own, the fact you can even grind end mills is appealing. But with a $600 or more tag it’s a little out of reach.
