I've got all three of Terry Tynan's dvd's... I just haven't watched and absorbed them all yet! ::)
I am going to give it serious studdy.... I want my spherical boilers!! (And other shapes too! ;D )
Yes Eric.... you know what I am aiming to build!! ;) Wind ball ;D
Try buying a circle cutter on impulse off Flea Bay....(bout 8 months ago) £260.00 ($520.00 ish) ... I thought it would help me in the start of my spinning endevours!!! It only cuts 4" - 36" circles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't realise it's size :o !! (It's damn heavy too!)
Still a reliable source told me it is worth about £600.00!!
I'd better get some tooling made and some spinning done!
Ralph.

I just need to figure out what I need for tooling. Gotta get the videos.
I have a few other things I want to make with spinning in addition to the windball...
BTW... I listened to CD#6. Music is cool but WTH is he singing??
Eric
Powder Keg:
Wind ball? CD#6? Where?
Wes
Rog02:
I'm probably going to regret asking, but what is a windball?
Brass_Machine:
Hey Roger,
You won't regret asking that question. The windball is actually a aeolipile. Otherwise known as the grandfather of all steam engines. Here is a fantastic reproduction:
Check out this Guys Site. Amazing stuff!
Eric
