:ddb: :ddb: :ddb: WAY TO GO TOM :ddb: :ddb: :ddb: that is one very nice engine, it has a fair kick to it when it fire's. you must have very good compression. chuck  |
Bernd:
  I don't know Chuck, I wouldn't stand behind Tom if you think he's got good compression.  Now the engine, yeah, I'd say it's got darn nice compression. Very nice Tom. Going have to check out your build over on HMEM now. Regards, Bernd |
OKTomT:
Thanks it has less then 3 to 1 compression but it has a 6 inch stroke in the video above I have the timing at about 30* atdc. here is a video of the first start at tdc I am really surprised how well the slide valve seals but its slow to open and close . Tom |
Bernd:
Tom, I can now understand why those old auto's they showed bounced around so much when they were idling. :D Looks like you need to bolt that table down so the motor doesn't dance all over the place too. Bernd |
OKTomT:
I took Bernd's advice and bolted her down before she ran away. Built a mixer and coolent tank and got it running a little better . I still need to plumb the tank. happy holidays Tom |
