I normally hang out on r.c.m. or bbs.homeshopmachinist.net.  Just learned about this site from a posting on HSM on a threading tool.

Day job, I repair cnc equipment and automation stuff along with everything other than the toilet. 

Home shop is a small room in the corner of the garage I'm completing.  6903 Clausing Lathe and a Bridgeport.   It is a small room but it is heated, an important detail living in Northern Michigan.
