I just found this site as well, and since I see another New Englander Ill add my intro here. Im also a member of NEMES- in fact the founder and past president. I retired and moved to Maine a few years ago so I dont get to many club meetings, but I never miss a show. I depend on Errols photo record to keep me up to date on the meetings. Besides model projects I enjoy a bit of volunteer work at the local narrow gauge railroad museum, http://www.railwayvillage.org/ They are a code boiler shop and Ive worked on boiler plate forming, tire changing, wheel turning and just about anything needed to keep some almost 100 year old locos in steam. Ive got a personal web site with a range of my projects shown- plsntcov.8m.com Ive done some browsing here and Im sure Im going to enjoy this site, thanks to whoever runs its. ron ginger |
