Maybe .. In 1885 no other vehicles around to wallop into .. Hence brakes superfluous Aside from that I seem to think this machine still exists .. not sure .. cannot find a good reference , but some years ago a friend went to S.Germany, and IIRC he says it's in a motorcycle museum. But, it may be a replica, not the original. Dunno. If I had it, I would sell it and buy a shed load of new bikes, before the weevils consumed it. Dave BC |
