John Rudd:
--- Quote from: geroli on November 21, 2009, 02:29:15 PM ---The mt2 blank bored (the finish is not very good) but as Stew suggested it cut with the TC tip. Then it was impossible to drill so I made a small oven with 5 fire bricks and heat it up to soft oranje and left it in the oven to cool over as long as possible. Thanks John Rudd . Gerhard --- End quote --- Glad to hear you resolved your problems... |

That one is the 40mm metric one from ARC but it was no fun working with it but the end result came out fine. I didn't know Axminster sold them - I have always had very good service from Axminster so worth remembering. Thanks Gerhard |
