That's a great and simple idea. I don't know how to weld, so I would cut dovetails in the toolholders. |

Now thats neat way of making a cheap QCTP. How did you ensure all the dowels on the tool posts were in the right place? |

I just gently clamped holder to the post then one dowel/ round solid in place tacked ends then repeated for the other with G clamps (sprayed all with washing up liquid (anti spatter)) After tack welding the ends, remove holder from post and final weld. Trev |
