Nick, when looking it afterwards, I have no idea why I made it so thin. Must have been some brainstorm . But in any event, new cylinder wall is about five times thicker (1.2mm(~0.047")), than on the previous one (0.2mm(~0.0078")). Brackets are now filed, and ready for silver soldering: If all goes well, after soldering, I'll continue the lapping session. |
