I made a QCTP for my Grizzly 10 X 22. Here are some pics. I'm really liking this tool. I used the almost completed tool to knurl some stock and part off the height setting knobs/nuts. I will need to make one for my 7 X now. Ron |

Nice job, Ron. I bought a QCTP "block" + 2 toolholders for my 7x at a show here in the UK. The toolholder population is now 6, and will increase even further once I've picked up some more 1 x 2.5" bar. But the temptation to make one for every tool I own must be resisted, or I'll never do anything else. Eight or n2ine will cover all the usual tools, plus another reserved for those only used once in a while. Andy |

I've got 7 holders made. Still need a few more, but will make them in the future. Ron |

Nice work Ron. I'm going to need some for my 9 X 19 Grizzly if I ever get it back together again. Were did you find the plans? Bernd |
ozzie46:
I found them here, http://homepage3.nifty.com/amigos/qctp/qctp-e.htm There are some missing dimensions but they can be worked out. I didn't follow them faithfully, but I stuck pretty close. You might want to see this post on HMEM. Go to post #17. There is a pdf put up by "Doc". I was pretty well along on mine or I might have made this one. http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=6471.15 Ron |
