A very big Hello to all you Modder's
That is just what I have been doing most of my working life (Research Engineer) now retired.
I still love fixing, modding, and designing all sorts of things, and this site seems just perfect.
I am a member of a local Model Engineering Club, and a great bunch of folk they are.
I have a reasonably equipped workshop, but will come to that some other time.
I discovered this Forum while looking for some information on home made CNC equipment,
 I have yet to find the answer I am after, but just had to join here after seeing some of the contributions.

I have been a follower of many of the Google forums for years but have become heartily sick of the spam as they have no moderators.
But this site is just great, every one seems to stick to the point, wonderful.

I think we are a very unique group. We cater for nothing special, but cover everything, almost anything goes.

It is like having a group discussion down in the pub about your problems or interests, but with a few more than normal mates around you.

Good answers, silly answers, you will get them all here. Just take everything as it comes.
