That comes to $6.9741 per US gallon. And we complain when gas hits $3.00 a gallon.
Good luck in finding a new workshop. The house is secondary.

Darren:
That's still cheap, try buying it here

Bernd, your calculator might need a bit of attention as I think it equates to about US$3.50 per gallon.
NZ is a free market in most comodities** but gasoline is an exception with a rather significant tax on it.
**Instead of sales taxes, duties and tariffs there is a universal 12.5% GST (i.e. VAT).

Quite true Darren!
Oh, the hardships we stoic Brits have to endure :(
At £ 1.05 per litre and £1.00 = $1.66, also 1 gallon Imp. = 1.2 gallons US ...
I make it equivalent to some $6.59 per US Gallon ... and it don't produce any more BHP either ...
Please send food parcels ASAP ...
Will break off now, faint and weak from malnutrition ...

Oh dear Dave, I did not realise it was still so bad over there. Have a look down the back of the sofa and see if you can find 10 quid, take it down to NZ House and they will give you a ticket for a ship to bring you here to a life of ease and drunken gluttony.
