Nice one Rob. I like the idea of stress relieving. That's a good idea, especially after welding. Would have never thought of that. The part does look like a casting though. This going to be an interesting thread, one I'm going to watch closely. I want to eventually build one for a lathe I'm modifing. Keep up the great work. :thumbup: Bernd |

Rob 2 qeustions. 1 Is it not worth incorporating a small feedscrew into the design ( on the end that has the scale) if you use a feedscrew with very fine thread it would allow you to make measured adjustments??????? 2 Any way my little ARC welder can weld ALi???? Gerhard |
