This just demonstrates how dangerous boilers can be, my thoughts are with the poor dead man and the injured. I found this picture in a book I was reading:- it shows the results of a boiler explosion on a steam plough traction engine, those old guys because they were paid by the acer had an habbit of screwing the safety valve down.
