The Jeweler's Bench Reference
by Harold O'Connor
Dunconor Books
13 printing,copyright ©1977 wire bound pocket size
As the titles tells all in this case, is a small slim volume that covers a little information about the subjects in the contents page. Not a lot just the steps need to accomplish the item in question. The chapters that are longer in nature cover more stuff like rings sizes and other question involved in the design of a piece, or what is a Pin stem and joint, or a Broach stem and joint. Clear line drawings and measurements of the item. It has a good list of other books for reference too. How to figure the amount of metal for casting etc.
All in all a good one for the bench or the tool box if you are a traveling type.

Available thru a lot of jewelry supply shops.
