replacement clutch selector on a clm500 combi lathe/mill
(1/1)
PhiberOptix:
Disaster the plastic clutch selector broke
so had to make a new one this time from mild steel
drilled out the bulk of it
bored out and knurled
Drilling the screw holes in a dividing head
countersinking the screw holes
and fitted back on and packed with grease
now I can use my machine again ;)

I was gutted when it happened as without it I could not use my machine
not even to make a replacement
but luckily enough my m8 has a full engineering workshop
so was able to go over to his an make a new one

Good repair Andy
I've got a 3 in 1 I may just make myself a spare one of those before I'm left without a machine
Cheers
