Jeffs Shop Rebuild

(1/2) > >>

Hi all!  For the last three weeks or so I've been rebuilding my 'shop'.  The problem, a 24' x 40' garage filled with a car, woodworking stuff, metalworking stuff, wife's stuff, kids stuff, all kinda mixed together, so I'm walling off about 15' of one end for a dedicated, weatherized, metal shop.  :headbang:

So up goes the wall...

Some insulation and wallboard...

And a little paint...

I think I have everything where it needs to sit.  I left a 5' wide door for moving tools in and out, not sure whether to use a sliding barn type door or french doors....   Now I just need to put in the ceiling and organize  :bugeye:

Nice shop Jeff.

I'd go for the barn doors, simple reason being they don't swing. Need to keep stuff clear of doors like that.  :)

So how much work do you plan on getting done? I figure with that nice comfy chair there you're not going to be doing much but dreaming about projects.

Well, a little more progress...   We have ceiling!  :headbang:

And not a minute too soon, it's a whopping 36deg f today.     Now we just need a little organization!

Cheers
