The shop is equipped with TV, VCR, DVD, CD Cassette Tape, Phone, Computer, Radio. While I can listen to Limbaugh or Hannity or NPR's left-wing equivalents while cleaning the shop or assembling details, I usually have Classical music from an NPR affiliate or my own collection on in the background when designing or machining. |

If I'm just working as opposed to needing complete concentration I usually have an audio book on an Ipod. Problem I have found is that unless I choose a music compilation I get annoyed with radio with all the endless talking and adverts. If I choose a music compilation I play it a few time, get fed up and don't bother to do a new one. I hate albums as I get tired of hearing the same group over and over even though I like them. Just finished listening to Jeff Waynes "War of the World" narrated by Richard Burton, Followed by a Clive Custler adventure. John S. |
