Ok here's the pics

For you chaps who don't know the lake district is a national park in the north west of the UK in the county of Cumbira the lakes were formed in the last ice age you can see the U shape valleys. Its where Donald Cambell broke the water speed record in his jet powered boat Bluebird and also where he met his end when it summersalted on his last attempt to beat the record.

All the pics are of one of the lakes called Ulswater its 11 miles long we walked the length of the lake and got the steam boat back (the boats been converted to desile so why call it a steamer  :scratch:)













Isn't retirement great  :D :D :D :D :D

Very nice Stew. I also like this one, wast water, weather wasn't nice though, this was nearly 4 years ago.
