B&Q led lights

I've seen references to led machine lights on here, the latest being Stew's impressive 108 led affair. B&Q are selling 24 led clusters at about £6 each, and I bought a couple today to throw a little light on my Dore Westbury mill - quite a lot of light, actually. Each comes with 3 x AAA cells, but draws about half an amp according to my Avometer, so I'm rooting around my junkboxes for a =>1A wall wart giving either 4.5V (with the lamps in parallel) or 9V (series).

Sturdy plastic cases, and available in black as shown, or in a rather fetching blue. But that would clash with the DW decor.

My hidden agenda for this post is to see if I have worked out how to post pics. If it hasn't worked, then apologies and back to    and :bang: until someone tells me the secret.

Cheers

Andy

Hi Andy thanks for the B and Q light tip I'll check them out.

Best way to post pics is to open a photobucket account load the pic on then then copy them over from it to the forum, thats the way I do it.

Good luck

Stew

Off to BQ tomorrow so will take a look as I am looking a light mod for each of my machines.

Thanks, Stew. I'll try again with the image - don't know if you saw it, but all I got when I looked at my post was one of those irksome little boxes with a red X in it. Have uploaded image to Photobucket as instructed - oddly, it's stored on Skydrive. So was the abortive one.

Despite having four of them in various states of decrepitude, I've never really got on with these whaddyoucallums with keyboards since CP/M went out.

Andy

Edit: it still isn't working for me - another annoying red X
