When I see your avatar it always reminds me of both you and Bandit. I don't think that it needs changing. I pray that your situation will continue to resolve itself in the best possible way. John (dsquire) is right. I think you should keep the old avatar. It just won't be right to take him out of the picture now. It'll remind us to keep sending you well wishes in private every now and then. It also helps to keep reminding us to ask how your doing.
Knowing how private you are in matters such as this I didn't ask any questions, although I wondered what had happened since I wasn't seeing to many postings from you. So I wish all family well and hope it will resolve itself soon. I think the saying goes "Keep a stiff upper lip".
