Round Copper Bar

With all due respect chaps, not very inspiring,  :(

I think you have confirmed my conclusion that it has virtually no use for me.
I have no plans to copper plate owt, and I have two of the 'three bladed, springy, whizzy-roundy, slipstoney thingys' for cylinder honing.

I might just have a go at Bogs suggestion, I have a ISCRA (?) parting tool that I need to sort out. If it does copper, it'll do anything as Bogs says.

Then, off to the Scrappy with the debris  :D

Shame you don't know anyone making superheaters!

All I had to do really was saw, file and drill. I do seem to  remember turning some though! You just need your tool the right shape, a really high rake angle, sort of curved, hook type shape usually works best!

Any way you can use it to your advantage though makes sense!

Aaargh !

Saw,file , drill ??

Not with arthritis I ain't. Anyway, gone to the big smelter in the sky now. Together with a shed load ( actually, not literally), of leccy motors, trannies, redundant BSW hex bar, bits of ally, bsw/bsf bolts nuts, sundry other crap, now have a nearly freehold garage. ( was 164 kg total, crafty buggers weigh it).
Damn near knacked me and the car getting it there, fortunately a young warrior unloaded the stuff while me and the geezer who runs the place swapped old Velocette yarns over a coffee an' Jaffa Cakes.

On the negative side, could not resist some 4" & 3" and lesser dias.  P-Bronze off cuts  :(  as a swappy thing.
I wanted nowt for the scrap, so I was offered a little shufti in the Holy of Holies and scrounged about 10kg of the Phossy. (It's a shiny flywheel thing).

Some old codgers NEVER learn, well chuffed tho.
