Round Copper Bar

(1/4) > >>

Bluechip:
When I got the Myford, I also got a load of other stuff ..

In this are 2 off 12" lengths of 1" round solid copper bar. Pretty sure that's what it is.

Quite apart from LSM charging about £14+ per foot, what can I do with the stuff ?

I don't recall ever seeing it used in ME?, but it seems a bit off to sling it to the Scrappy.

Careful with suggestions please chaps. I do live a life of purity and innocence  ::)

Make some drifts?

A really, really beefy spot welder?

NickG:
It's good for the ends of superheater tubes. I've still got some square copper I bought for that, about 3/4" but it's got rounded edges too - weird stuff.

Turn some end plates for a really small copper boiler! Infact, you could bore the rest out to make the boiler tube itself! For the tiny engine or similar!
