When I got the Myford, I also got a load of other stuff .. In this are 2 off 12" lengths of 1" round solid copper bar. Pretty sure that's what it is. Quite apart from LSM charging about £14+ per foot, what can I do with the stuff ? I don't recall ever seeing it used in ME?, but it seems a bit off to sling it to the Scrappy. Careful with suggestions please chaps. I do live a life of purity and innocence ::) Dave BC |

It's good for the ends of superheater tubes. I've still got some square copper I bought for that, about 3/4" but it's got rounded edges too - weird stuff. Turn some end plates for a really small copper boiler! Infact, you could bore the rest out to make the boiler tube itself! For the tiny engine or similar! Nick |
