Nice work :wave:. It is also possible to take a shortcut, and use threading tap, as I have used to make my primitive rotary table. No photos yet, as I have to find my camera (again). :offtopic:. Anyway, calculating the circumference, that matches certain number of teeth, is chinese arithmetic to me. Resulting machined workpiece never match my calculations. I have read the theory that's behind it, and tried to adapt it in practise in several ways. |

Thanks for the kind comments. Sorveltaja, if I understand correctly the number of teeth will usually be 2 less than you would calculate using blank diameter and tap pitch. |
