Hello to all. I see a lot of familiar names here. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a retired physicist living in Los Angeles. I'm most active on the HMEM board but, after lurking a bit here, decided I need to broaden my horizons and join your fine group. My main interest is small steam/air/Stirling engines but I've never seen a shop built tool or gadget I didn't like. The shop, fondly known as Garaj Mahal, is a two car garage that still houses two cars so, by force of circumstance, I stick mainly with smaller scale projects. Some of you may already be familiar with my web page (see sig for URL) where I offer a number of free programs that I hope will be useful to homeshop metalworkers. You're all invited to stop by and download whatever you find helpful. You've got an excellent group here. I'm looking forward to being a participating member. |
