heres a video of a hit and miss gas engine i built awhile ago the castings are from richard shelly. it has 8 inch dia flywheels, the bore and stroke are 1 1/4" x 2". instead of a spark plug it uses an ignitor for ignition. what you see in the video took 40 hours to make (from raw castings) i have 6 model engines running and about 12 or 14 more to build. i also have 5 full size engines to work on as well............i just love hit and miss engines of all sizes. chuck :wave: |
