Anyone here tried 3D-scanning? I know it's far apart from machining things, but if interested, there is site and forum at http://www.david-laserscanner.com/?section=Gallery It's been about 2 years, when I used their free version software. I guess that it has been improved since then. That site's gallery shows it. There are pictures of some quite marvellous scan results (Especially by Hal). I haven't visited the forum for a long time, but maybe I'll get chance to revive that thing in future. |
