I don't think most of you have got the message yet.

Grab a wallwart, make up a holder how Shred has done, but with a bit of ventilation to get rid of the heat, and because these units actually throw a forwards beam, depending on the angle that is shown on the lamp, they can be mounted on the ceiling or the wall to shine directly onto your lathe or milling chuck with a nice concentrated beam, without being in the way on the machine.

Why should bike riders get all the benefit.

Finding a wallwart with enough amperage would be your only problem, but there should be something out there that will do the job.
I have also seen these lights being made with the same output, but utilising hi intensity LED's instead of tungsten.
