I was nearly sick when I saw that! :lol: Only kidding, it's quite nice actually, I once started making a wooden beam engine, got as far as the column and beam, then something split and I gave up! If I'd used decent wood and a bit more patience it could have worked, it was so much quicker to work with the wood! Nick |

In Elmer's Engine book he has two beam engines that use wood for a majority of the build. They'd be fun to build, but I've got enough projects for now. :coffee: Bernd |
