Arbors again
Darren:
Can someone please tell me how this cutter is held in the arbor, is it simply threaded in...
sbwhart:
Darren
That looks like a V belt drive could be from a subsidury drive shaft set up someone has cobbled together
Puzzled
Stew
Darren:
No Stew,
It's a BT30 auto change milling arbor that will with a little adaption fit my mill spindle, I was just wondering how the milling cutter was fixed?
Nice idea though....
ps, I only know that cos Mr Stevenson told me.... :smart:
sbwhart:
Ho the the V groove is for the auto changer I see, not into machining centres that much, from the pic the cutter looks intergrall with the arbor, is there a long screw up the bottom, or through the cutter bit, try unscrewing the cutter left hand
Still puzzled
Stew
Darren:
Sorry Stew I'm confusing you again, I don't have one, just wondering as I see some on ebay.
I don't want this type if the cutter can't be replaced......that's the real question....
