You weren't gone long Ralph. If you want to try a few acrylic bases, the chap that gets it for me will be at the Malpas show. I might be able to persuade him to give me a few cwts of the stuff, like he did with the large acrylic sheets I showed you. Not quite Halo time yet, I still have to finish off that small engine refurb job, a couple of days if I am lucky. I dropped everything to make this one, an urge to bling came over me all of a sudden. Bogs. BTW, a normal one, I reckon is a max of 5 hours to make, not the 5 days it has taken me to get this one done. |
