Bogs Bitten By Bling Bug !!!

You got me going on building one.

I'm just at the "make it look different' stage". I need to make a few more before the "bling bug" bites. Still to impatient for the bling factor.

Yours is looking nice. Must have been that Friday lunch you had.

It was in fact just down to the final bit of polishing this evening, and my fingers gave way on the buffing wheel.

Because it had had so much silver soldering done on it, the metal was very soft and so suffered a fair amount of impact damage.

The upright part of the stand was bent like a banana, a couple of the fins had bad flats on them, and they were also knocked out of shape.

So a rescue package was brought into action and hammers, small dollies, wedges and other bits and bobs were used. It looks a 1000% better than it did, but not 100% to what it should be.

You will see the results in the morning.
