Sanguine they may look Bill, but get too near and the big blokes can turn nasty. Turf challenge I think.

Never had a problem with any myself but those at the resort I frequented were very used to people wandering about the bush-land between the cottages. Actually thinking back wallabies would be more accurate I think given the size. Often with joeys at heal or in the pouch.
Before further development we could sometimes see echidna scurrying among the scrub.

Good memories evoked though.
