Jim, I did try it but only on a piece of stock Al alloy. (As extruded). I ended up with a nice round piece with a smooth surface and it only seemed to make about 0.01mm difference to the diameter. (Not that the original was perfectly round.) I'll repeat and take some photos. Phil. |
