Hi Dell, Is your tool set exactly on centre height? 450 rpm seems much too slow for 10mm diameter even for a HSS tool. What frequency is your vfd running at? At very low frequency you won't have the torque - hence why it might stall. Better to have a high motor speed and use the pulley combinations. Does that make sense? Phil |
