I did investigate a small paint roller but was not encouraged enough to take it further.  One problem was aligning the brush when first lowering on to the work.

Yes the Lad thought the same until he tried it, it has saved him hours of work
The biggest problem was the time it took to get the paint consistency correct..
But he is cooking with gas now as they say.
