Flabbergasting engineering
« on: January 07, 2022, 05:00:01 PM »
I just recently found Allen Millyard on Youtube & notified a mate, only to find he is well known in biking circles.
The bloke is a GENIUS. I've done a quick search on here & can't find a reference to him, but this chap is special - what he does with a fairly basic workshop & hand tools is staggering e.g. made a bike powered by a 5 litre Vee twin engine consisting of two barrels & heads from a Pratt & Whitney 9 cylinder radial engine from a Dakota.

Does the show ever show any of his stuff, or how he makes it? (I find Henry Cole irritating, so never watch anything he's in)

Really only that he's good at getting motorbikes running! (I too find HC irritating - considering he's a bike nut he doesn't have a clue about how they work.)

Henry's other mates Guy Wollaston & Sam Lovegrove are both wizards with motorbikes.

Thanks for posting that, I hadn't seen his videos before, and there's a lot of very useful info there. I'm not into motorcycles, but definitely into engines, and small workshop tooling and methods! Great videos!
I love it when a Plan B comes together!

I wouldn't let his association with Henry Cole put you off watching Alan Milliyard's video, the man's work is amazing!
