Upping my light game
« on: September 01, 2021, 08:17:33 AM »
I put a ring light on my mill's quill housing years ago, and recently swapped it out for one with all the leds working ;-)
The problem with that one is when you run the quill down, it shades the tool.  I just glued another one onto the quill, with a badge leash to keep the wires out of harm's way.
We'll have to see how happy it makes me...

The larger diameter of the ring light the less shadow you get at the tip of the tool, so go large!

Or go close to the tool...  or, both!
