Hi all hope you all are keeping well right john IE doubleboost has got a new project its a Stuart turner  steam engine a large one  i have part of it its the oil pump its in bit of a bad state so hear are sum pics of wat i have dune so far

as you can see its well rusty i removed the brass bits then put the mane part in the oven to get hot then lifted it out and let it cool  to help remove the bolts right more pics

I saw that last night it needs a good soak in some citric very nice project though I’m looking forward to it.

I watched John's video on the engine yesterday, First thoughts were he'd bought 'a pig in a poke'....judging by the amount of corrosion...
This doesn't seem to have fazed him...but it will be nice to see the refurbished engine when its all done...

Looking forward to the next instalment.. :thumbup:

hi did a bit more I had to cut out the cam that works the rocker that works the pump  i made a new shaft for the cam to fit on to I have to make a new cam made a new spring for the pump  sos no pics but put the mane body of the oil pump in the acid bath at work  and it came out nice then panted the inside   right pics
