Recently I acquired a Sajo UF 52 universal horizontal mill. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping so I am going through it conducting repairs and making sure everything ir right. At least as right as I can get it. The mill has a hand crank oiler for oiling the ways. I can't find any info on it. I can't see the ends of all the oil lines running from it. So my question is kind of dumb but it is important. Which way is it supposed to turn. It turns clockwise but stops solid it you try to turn it counter clockwise. It feels like a ratchet when turned clockwise. I am assuming this is correct. The only other way I can think of verifying this, besides asking da dumb question, would be to crank away and wait for the oil level in the sight glass too lower. That isn't how I want to spend my weekend.
Also, any other knowledge on Sajo mills would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
