Thanks for trying that Steve.  Nice tailstock.  Looks quite large.

I've just tried again and received another "unable to handle... 500".

I'm trying attaching my failed attachments to see if one of them is the problem.  I've just tried with all of them and it failed again, so now I'm testing one at a time.

First attempt with first attachment - "unable to handle... 500".

Second attempt - "You already submitted this post! You might have accidentally double clicked or tried to refresh the page."

Third attempt with second attachment - "unable to handle... 500".

4th attempt with no attachment.

I've attached all the original attachments by modifying this post.  I had a failure message after the fifth one, but it still uploaded OK. :scratch: :scratch:

Armed with this knowledge I will now attempt again to start a new topic.

PS OK, problem solved I think, I had forgotten to resize one of the pictures and although it was well under the maximum file size it may have had a problem with pixel size.

Maybe the problem attachment was partially uploaded, and then aborted when it exceeded whatever the requirement was. But the partial upload remained in the forum database as a file with the filename. That would explain why it couldn't be sent again, at least with the same name. And being partial, couldn't be shown. That's just a guess.

The tailstock was just a random image I had once downloaded. I sometimes do that for lathes and bits that I think look good, for future ideas.

I hope problem is solved, if not let me know.
