How to test and assess differential probes at home workshop?
« on: October 24, 2020, 10:52:37 AM »
I have been contemplating of building LV differential probe, but the more I read the more I see challenges.

I bought HV differential probe (Micsig DP10013) that looks ok for normal measurements, the spesification is incomplete and my experience on modern differential probes is incomplete too.

How to measure basic attributes of differential probe? I have cheap function generator and 100 MHz scope and some Fluke DVMs. I have access to pretty good measurement systems, but like to practice at home.

Found this one for pretty hig spesification probe:

Any paper for dummies?

Thank you,
Pekka
