What is it?

I'm a member of a pensioner's forum.

One of the members posted this vaguely familiar item, a couple of days ago. Asking, what is it?

It's about 4" long 5/16" diameter. The rounded end is about 3/16 thick with 3 very fine holes through it, the three lobes on the other end have different offsets from centre.

I'm sure, I've seen one, some time ago.....

No-one knows the answer, of course.
 Just the usual banter.
A wimwom for a duck's perch.
 A cherry plucker popper plunger.
Or possibly the part of a crumpet making machine that puts the holes in.

Anyone, on here got any ideas?

Hmm.... Sorry Tom. The pics should show. All is ok, at this end.

Communication has been awkward on here, for me, for some time now. Don't know why.  :(
