How-to: X2 Mini Mill Torque and Speed increase
John Stevenson:
OK got it thanks.
Looked on Ebay and found the board listed but they look nothing like the one in the article ?
I did buy 5 240 volt boards from surplus centre and used 3 on jobs, non X2 / 3 related but the two I had left wouldn't work when I came to use them.

Hi John,
I took another look on eBay and the ones I saw may be the basic board with some other electronics stuck on.
Try these guys http://www.plccenter.com/buy/PENTA+POWER/KBLC19PMMOD.
I'm NOT an expert on electronics so take the preceding with a grain of salt. :zap:
I don't have any suggestions regarding the 240V stuff either...
John Rudd:
I'd appreciate a copy of the material from the downed website please..
Email is good and is in my profile.
My mill too has the KBIC speed controller..I have circuit diagrams too if anyone needs a copy..Send me a pm if you need it.
I already have a belt conversion on my Chester Conquest mill from the Jerry Rollet design.
TIA..

On it's way...
John Rudd:
Thanks, arrived safe and sound...
One thing I'll add...when I went for the belt drive option, I changed out the bearings too..For Taper Rollers....Soooo much smoother and the machine is now much quieter than before when it had those horrible plastics gears....No more gears, no more tears.
Fly cutting is a breeze....
