Would a window key fit - the type used to unlock some double-glazing units? https://www.trulypvc.com/window-door-parts/window-handles/window-keys/wms-kb105-window-key?gclid=CjwKCAjwlovtBRBrEiwAG3XJ-y6ojqjWGL3z_UXDpK2cB0nvl_qNsgPznrw2ZNX3WVGWARfdmwynrxoCNi8QAvD_BwE Might need a spot of filing to make it fit? |
RussellT:
It reminds me of the sort of fitting you used to get on multi purpose screwdriver bits, where you had a choice of blades to put in the handle. Russell |

Its a little embarassing actually but I saw the slits and assumed it was screwed in but it wasn't  it was actually held in by a hidden pin which you have to take the shank off to see. Not entirely sure why it has the slits to be honest but I am guessing they help you get the housing out once the pin is removed. |
